in san jose and santa rosa it is warmer and half moon bay is seven degrees cooler and san francisco at two and oakland at four and concord, live more, and fremont at one degree cooler. temperatures are running from 34 in napa, to 38 in cop -- concord, and half moon bay down to 34 degrees. a lot of low-to-mid 40's around the bay shore. we are off to mostly clear start this morning with temperatures in the mid-30's inland and mid-40's for the rest of us through 7:00. headed in the afternoon, that will be a bright are day than yesterday with passing clouds having passed. a wonderful time to be outside at lunch, low-to-mid 60's away from the coast at 4:00, and at 53 and you can see all the stars developing through the evening with temperatures mainly in the 50's and now the next three days the warmest in the forecast in the upper 60's away from the beaches and the 70's on thursday and low-to-mid 70's for friday. enjoy the spring fling we will have in the next couple of days. >> hello, everyone, if your drive takes you to novato to marin wood, this is just beyond the marin ymca, the head

of a sea breeze keeping you cooler, san jose 58. santa rosa 65. now, it is still winter. i have video confirmation that it is still winter because all you have to do is go to texas for the second time in a week, more than a foot of snow fell in the panhandle of texas. so we're talking about getting to the 70s, they are just hoping to get back to 40 in and around amarillo. 19 inches of snow over the past few days. for us dry radar, high-def doppler radar showing dry conditions but with clear skies. it will be yet another chilly night 30s in fremont, concord and fairfield. napa 37. santa rosa 36. here's the setup in the atmosphere. another boundary moved through. a little cloud cover all the rainfall to the north. there's another storm moving in but it will also stay to the north. let's talk about wind direction to determine whether we see the 60s or the 70s. next couple of days, we still have a light onshore flow out of the northwest. rain stays north but we'll state in the 60s around average. now let's talk about thursday, friday and saturday. a

by the afternoon, as high as 66 in santa rosa, 64 in san jose and 58 degrees in san francisco. we'll have more on your weather coming up. right now, let's check the roads with elizabeth. >> we are going to take out towards the east bay. there is a lot of overnight roadwork in lanes. they are in the process of working to clear up some roadwork on southbound lanes of 880 right here in oakland near the oakland coliseum and high street. then there's more roadwork continuing southbound all the way into san leandro approaching marina boulevard but all that will wrap up by 5:00. they are already in the clearing stages. dublin interchange, westbound 580, free and clear all the way out from the altamont pass. in the eastbound direction, once again, they have lanes closed approaching north greenville road again eastbound 580 but in the commute direction still looking good moving at the limit. elsewhere, westbound 4 approaching pinole valley road -- that's actually westbound 80 approaching pinole valley road. an accident is in the clearing stages so hopefully no lanes

and windy. it did help temperatures to warm up to 68 in santa rosa. cooler in san jose with 61 for you. 67 in gilroy. 63 in livermore. a look right now at the current temperatures we're starting to drop off the immediate coastline, a slight onshore wind. 52 in san mateo and plenty of 50s in the east bay. in fact, already close to the 40s right now in pleasanton. outside to our live hd sky camera network. you get to spend too much time outside today, here is your window to the outside world. it looks incredible for tonight. not a whole lot of haze. a cold front moved through this weekend and that did help our air quality to improve. however, with only trace amounts of rain early saturday morning we didn't have enough to clean out the pollen so that will be continually a problem, very high pollen forecast. a look right now at what we have happening, the jet stream. the storm track which steers all of our activity, continues to push way up into alaska. this really is just unheard of this time of the year. we've seen less than two inches for most spots in all of 2013 when it comes to rainfall.

will be a day to remember. rosa parks, the mother of the civil rights movement who refused to give up her seat on a segregated bus in montgomery, alabama, in 1955 will get her spot among other giants of american history. tomorrow a statue of parks will be unveiled in the original house of representatives known as statutory hall. it will sit near the statue of dr. martin luther king and others. it's an honor. i applaud both republicans and democrats for it. but at the same hour tomorrow just across the street at the supreme court, the voting rights act faces its greatest challenge. th this challenges everything they stood for. in the last year voter i.d. laws have been pushed all over the country in 37 states. we've seen billboards in minority communities that threaten and scare away voters. we've seen blocking of voter registration drives. scaling back on early voting and massive lines. and we've herd desiline's story the voter who stood in lines for hours to cast her ballot. so let's remember what we're honoring. we cannot go back now. we've made too much progress to turn back the clocks. tom
